Festival Terms & Conditions

Rules for participating in Pejzaż Festiwal 2026 — please read before buying a ticket and entering the Festival site.

1. General provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the rules for participating in Pejzaż Festiwal 2026 ("the Festival").
  2. The Festival takes place on 18–20 September 2026 at the Watra Łemkowska site in Zdynia, in the Lesser Poland (małopolskie) voivodeship.
  3. The Organiser reserves the right for the Festival site and its accommodation/camping facilities to operate from 18 September 2026, 2:00 PM, to 21 September 2026, 2:00 PM.
  4. The Festival is organised by the Humanosh Foundation in memory of Sława and Izydor Wołosiański, based in Zdynia.
  5. The Festival is a cultural and artistic event that includes, in particular, concerts, musical events, film screenings, artistic activities, workshops, outdoor activities and other accompanying events.
  6. The Festival is an event intended exclusively for persons who are 18 years of age or older.
  7. Participants are required to read these Terms before entering the Festival site and to comply with their provisions.
  8. These Terms apply to all persons present on the Festival site, including participants, artists, collaborators, exhibitors, volunteers and guests, subject to separate rules applicable to staff and contractors.

2. Dates and organisation of the Festival

  1. The official artistic programme of the Festival takes place on 18–20 September 2026.
  2. Participant entry to the Festival site on 18 September 2026 begins at 2:00 PM, unless the Organiser announces a different time in an organisational notice.
  3. The Festival site, including the campsite, operates until 2:00 PM on 21 September 2026.
  4. Participants are required to leave the Festival site by 2:00 PM on 21 September 2026 at the latest, unless the Organiser agrees to a later departure.
  5. The Festival programme, the starting times of individual events and any programme changes are published by the Organiser through the Festival's official information channels.
  6. The Organiser may change the order of events, their starting times, or their location, or cancel a given event for organisational, technical, safety, weather-related or other reasons beyond the Organiser's control.

3. Tickets and entry

  1. Entry to the Festival site requires a valid ticket or another document entitling the holder to entry, in accordance with the rules set by the Organiser.
  2. At the entrance, the Organiser or persons authorised by the Organiser may ask to see the ticket and proof of age of majority.
  3. The ticket may be presented in electronic or paper form, in accordance with the applicable sales rules.
  4. One ticket entitles one person to entry, depending on the ticket type.
  5. The Organiser may refuse entry to a person who:
    • does not have a valid ticket,
    • does not have proof of age of majority, where this is required,
    • is visibly under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances,
    • is in possession of items prohibited under these Terms,
    • behaves in a way that poses a threat to other persons or property.
  6. The ticket must be kept for the entire duration of the stay on the Festival site if the Organiser uses a multiple-entry control system.
  7. Ticket return rules are set out in the Organiser's sales information. The Organiser currently allows ticket returns within 14 days of purchase, provided that at least 14 days remain before the start of the Festival.

4. Campsite

  1. The campsite is part of the Festival infrastructure and is intended for persons entitled to use it.
  2. Participants may pitch a tent only in a location designated by the Organiser or the campsite staff.
  3. It is forbidden to pitch tents:
    • on evacuation routes,
    • in passageways,
    • at entrances and exits,
    • in the immediate vicinity of stages, generators, electrical installations or other technical equipment,
    • in areas marked as off-limits.
  4. Participants are responsible for their own tent, equipment and belongings left at the campsite.
  5. The Organiser is not liable for unattended belongings, except for liability arising from mandatory provisions of law.
  6. It is forbidden to move other people's tents without permission.
  7. It is forbidden to destroy, cut, set fire to, or otherwise damage the tents and equipment of other participants.
  8. At the end of their stay, each participant is required to remove their tent and all belongings and to leave the site clean.
  9. Leaving a tent, rubbish or equipment on the Festival site after the end of the stay may be treated as abandoning waste and may result in the participant being charged for its removal, where the law so allows.

5. Safety rules

  1. Participants are required to follow the instructions of the Organiser, security staff, technical crew, order services and persons responsible for safety.
  2. In the event of a threat, participants must immediately follow the instructions of the persons responsible for evacuation or safety.
  3. It is forbidden to block evacuation routes, exits, passageways or access to fire-fighting equipment.
  4. It is forbidden to use open flame outside areas designated by the Organiser.
  5. It is forbidden to interfere on one's own with electrical installations, sound systems, lighting, stage constructions, fences, technical tents or other elements of the Festival infrastructure.
  6. If a participant notices a fire, an accident, a threat to health or life, or another dangerous event, they should immediately notify Festival staff.
  7. Participants must exercise particular caution due to the natural terrain, uneven ground, weather conditions, mud, slippery surfaces, vegetation and other natural features of the site.
  8. The Organiser may temporarily close specific parts of the site in the event of a safety threat.

6. Prohibited items and conduct

It is forbidden to bring onto or possess on the Festival site, in particular:

  • weapons and items that could be used as weapons;
  • explosive, pyrotechnic or flammable materials, except for technical equipment approved by the Organiser;
  • narcotic and psychotropic substances whose possession is prohibited by law;
  • items that may pose a threat to the life or health of other persons;
  • personal electrical installations connected to the Festival infrastructure without the Organiser's consent;
  • power generators without the Organiser's consent;
  • large items that hinder movement or obstruct visibility;
  • other items indicated by the Organiser for safety reasons.

It is also forbidden to:

  • engage in physical or verbal aggression;
  • make threats, or engage in violence, harassment, molestation or conduct that violates the dignity of other persons;
  • destroy property;
  • disrupt artistic events;
  • climb onto stages, structures, fences, technical elements or areas off-limits to the public;
  • move Festival equipment without authorisation;
  • litter the site;
  • conduct commercial or promotional activity without the Organiser's consent.

7. Alcohol and intoxicating substances

  1. Alcohol may be consumed on the Festival site only to the extent and in the places where this complies with applicable law and the Organiser's rules.
  2. It is forbidden to consume alcohol in a manner that endangers other persons or disrupts the course of the Festival.
  3. It is forbidden to drive vehicles under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
  4. It is forbidden to possess or use substances whose possession or use is prohibited by law.
  5. Persons posing a threat to themselves or others may be removed from the Festival site.

8. Vehicles and parking

  1. Vehicles may be left only in places designated by the Organiser.
  2. Driving a vehicle onto the Festival site requires appropriate authorisation, if the Organiser introduces such a requirement.
  3. Particular caution and speed limits resulting from signage and staff instructions apply on the Festival site.
  4. Fire, evacuation and technical access roads must remain passable at all times.
  5. The Organiser is not liable for items left in vehicles.

9. Environmental protection and order

  1. The Festival takes place in the natural environment of the Low Beskids, so all participants are required to show particular respect for the environment.
  2. It is forbidden to:
    • dispose of waste outside designated areas,
    • destroy vegetation,
    • litter the forest and neighbouring areas,
    • pour out chemicals or other pollutants,
    • damage elements of the site's infrastructure.
  3. Participants are required to use the designated toilets and sanitary facilities.
  4. The Organiser may operate waste segregation and require participants to use the appropriate containers.

10. Photographs, filming and image rights

  1. Photographs and audio-video recordings may be made during the Festival.
  2. The materials may be used by the Organiser to document, report on and promote the Festival, in a manner consistent with applicable law.
  3. The Organiser should avoid using a participant's image as the main element of a material without an appropriate legal basis or the required consent.
  4. Participants may take photographs and recordings for their own use, while respecting the privacy of other persons, the artists' rights and the rules applicable on the Festival site.

11. Persons requiring assistance

  1. In the event of a threat to health or life, report immediately to Festival staff or call the emergency number 112.
  2. The Organiser provides a way to report incidents to the persons responsible for safety.
  3. Participants are required to provide assistance to the extent they can do so without endangering themselves or others.

12. Lost and found property

  1. Items found on the Festival site should be handed in at the designated lost-and-found point or to staff.
  2. A person looking for a lost item may report to the lost-and-found point.
  3. The Organiser may set a retention period for found items.
  4. The Organiser is not liable for items lost or left behind by participants.

13. Participant liability

  1. Participants are liable for damage they cause to the Organiser, other participants or third parties, on the terms set out in applicable law.
  2. Participants are required to comply with the law, these Terms and the safety rules.
  3. Participants are responsible for their own conduct on the Festival site.

14. Organiser's rights

  1. The Organiser has the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the Festival site, a person who:
    • violates these Terms,
    • poses a threat,
    • disrupts the event,
    • destroys property,
    • violates the rights of other participants,
    • fails to comply with the instructions of services or staff.
  2. In the event of a serious threat, the Organiser may order the evacuation of part or all of the site.
  3. The Organiser may change the Festival programme for reasons beyond its control, in particular due to weather conditions, technical failures, safety threats or decisions of the relevant authorities.
  4. The Organiser may restrict access to specific zones where required for safety, technical or organisational reasons.

15. Complaints and contact

  1. Any comments regarding the organisation of the Festival may be submitted to the Organiser.
  2. Complaints regarding tickets or payments should be submitted in accordance with the procedure indicated by the Organiser.

  4. A complaint should include a description of the matter and contact details for the person submitting it.

16. Final provisions

  1. These Terms are available before ticket purchase and on the Festival site.
  2. Purchasing a ticket or entering the Festival site constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
  3. In matters not regulated by these Terms, the applicable provisions of Polish law shall apply.
  4. These Terms come into force on the date of their publication.
  5. The Organiser reserves the right to update these Terms where necessary for organisational, safety or legal reasons.
